Fast at the counter

Everything the business sells, in one clear cart.

The till is built for speed, but it does not throw away context. Services, products, packages, memberships and stored value can all participate in the same customer journey.

A menu made for touch

Find the right item without hunting through the system.

Large, predictable targets make the till practical on an iPad. Categories follow the way the business works, while search, open prices and quick actions handle exceptions.

  • Separate services, retail, packages and stored-value actions.
  • Use outlet-specific menus, prices and availability.
  • Keep archived items out of the live till without losing history.
  • Let authorised staff adjust price, discount or attribution.

Customer-aware checkout

Recognise the customer before payment.

A visit is rarely just a list of items. The customer may have an eligible membership, remaining package sessions, restricted stored value, a voucher or an appointment waiting to be completed.

  • Show available benefits before a discount is missed.
  • Redeem the correct package session against the service.
  • Respect whether stored value can pay for services, retail or selected categories.
  • Keep promotional credit distinct from cash value and actual sales.

One completion event

Checkout updates the whole business.

Instead of asking the team to repeat the same visit in several modules, YigePOS turns one confirmed payment into a connected operational record.

Speed

A till that stays out of the way.

Quick customer lookup, touch-sized items and a single clear payment action keep queues moving.

Accuracy

Attribution follows the actual sale.

Discounts reduce sales; promotional credit can follow the business’s chosen commission attribution rule.

Control

Every shift ends with an explainable close.

Compare payment methods, money collected, stored value used and declared differences before closing the day.

Payments & receipts

Record the payment clearly. Keep provider choice open.

Cash, card, QR and stored value can be recorded in the till today. Hardware-terminal automation is designed as an integration layer, with availability and setup depending on the chosen payment provider and market.

  • Keep sales and money collected conceptually separate.
  • Send simple transactional receipts from the platform.
  • Use no-reply delivery with appointment-management links where relevant.
  • Reconcile the method recorded in YigePOS during day close.

After payment

Day close and reporting start with clean checkout data.

Numbers should explain what happened instead of forcing the owner to reverse-engineer the till at the end of the month.

01 · Sales

What the business actually sold.

Services and retail, less discounts and excluding top-ups, remain distinct from payment collection.

What actually reached the business.

Card, cash and QR are new money; stored value used was received when the customer originally topped up.

Resolve differences while the day is fresh.

Point-of-sale questions

Practical answers for the counter.

Is YigePOS designed to run on an iPad?

Yes. The main till and admin experience are designed as an iPad-friendly web application, with touch-sized controls and layouts intended for a front-desk counter.

Can stored value exclude retail products?

Yes. A stored-value programme can define what it may pay for, including services only, selected categories, or broader use. The restriction is visible before payment is attempted.

How do discounts and promotional credit affect commission?

Discounts reduce the commissionable sale because the customer paid less. Promotional credit follows a separate business setting: include all, include a percentage, or exclude it from commissionable sales.

Does checkout complete the appointment?

When the till customer and service match a live appointment, completing checkout can mark the appointment completed even if nobody manually marked the customer as arrived first.

Does YigePOS connect directly to payment terminals?

The till is designed for payment-provider integrations, but terminal availability, automated handoff and reconciliation depend on the provider, device and market. Cash, card, QR and stored-value payments can still be recorded without claiming a universal hardware connection.
